Helping Bring Your Family Together and Growing in Christ
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another–

We have heard from so many Z listeners who are looking for ways to spend more time with family. Your friends at Z88.3 would like to encourage you to make a change that could greatly impact your family. Have you considered checking out the church just down the street? Even if it has been a while, you are always welcome!
You may be asking why it is so important to attend church together. Here are just a few of the benefits that many Z families have experienced-
- Being reminded to do as Jesus commanded: To love God with all our hearts, mind and strength, and to love others as we love ourselves.
- Belonging to a community of Believers
- Worshipping together as a family
- Growing closer to God as a family
- Teaching our children, tweens and teens the Faith
Your local church is a great resource to help your family also accomplish these goals. They offer children, tween and teen’s programs as well as many programs for moms and dads. Best of all, it costs you nothing to attend and will help you shape yourself and your children to walk with God for eternity.
If you are looking for a church in your area, check out the 9 Marks Church Finder or ChurchFinder.com directory. You just have to select your state and city to find a local church close to your home. Many churches offer several services on different days and times to accommodate work schedules, so find a church that fits your family!
Also, the local Orlando Catholic Diocese publishes a listing of local parishes in alphabetical order for the nine county region.
Throw out the stereotypes of what you think church is and answer the question – What is holding you back from attending? If the answer is time, start making a change now that could help your family grow together exponentially this year. We encourage you to commit now to bringing your family together every week at a church near you!
